![]() It does get slow when using Denoise and Sharpen in Fill mode. One click to zoom would be really nice as also a navigator. The interface is very pretty but a "solo" mode would be really useful. Not only streets ahead of both LR and C1, it's in another block. Judicious use of sharpening is better than LR. Picktorial is very good and sometimes better than LR. The colour output is equal with LR and C1. You have to find out where the "sweet" spots are and what works for your files. The sliders in Picktorial have a, what I would call, different response. If you replicate in Picktorial what you do in LR, the results will be pretty disapointing. After a couple of hours I wanted to give up. A couple of weeks ago after becoming frustrated at LR I tried Picktorial again. ![]() I bought Picktorial as far as I can remember when it was first released, mainly because I liked the icon, the price was cheap, it looked cool and it went on the "replace LR" list. Picktorial is one or two steps from replacing LR. This is a pity because Picktorial shows immense promise. Combined with the uncompetitive pricing I cannot recommned this software. I still stand by those comments, but as LR has got better and better, Picktorial hasn't. This really just hasn't happened.īelow my first review of a few years ago.
